The research and development of new products is a core part of the Dailycer business. It is structured around three main priorities: nutrition, new product development and continuous improvement

Nutrition

Our dietary habits have changed dramatically over the last 10 years: the choice of foods is continuously expanding but at the same time we are becoming more and more sedentary and our energy consumption is diminishing proportionately.

This means our diet is sometimes too rich and is leading towards health problems typical of industrialised countries, such as diabetes, obesity, cardio-vascular disease…

To provide a specific response to this situation, Dailycer has chosen to prioritise nutrition in its R&D process.
 
Dailycer is taking particular care to improve the nutritional profile of its breakfast cereals, notably :

Optimising fats (total fats and saturated fats)
Eliminating trans fatty acids
Optimising salt content
Adding fibre
Providing the right amount of sugar, particularly in products for children

Most of our products are fortified with vitamins and minerals, in amounts recommended for each consumer segment.

Dailycer is also working on more specific subjects :

Addition of soluble fibre with a beneficial impact on the intestinal tract,
Targeted formulations to provide cereals that are both varied and balanced,
Adding specialised cereals or ingredients scientifically proven to help reduce the risk of disease linked to the industrialised world…

Dailycer also has close links with all the governing bodies and monitors all the nutritional information provided on packaging.

New product development

As a manufacturer of private label products, Dailycer is able to supply its customers rapidly and effectively with copies of the major brand products.

Dailycer also introduces notable innovations onto the market, such as :
filled cereal bars
three-layer cereal bars
filled cereals…

In these sectors, supplier ideals, insight and consumer information are essential.

Continuous improvement

The aim of the "Continuous Improvement" team is to manufacture higher quality products by continually improving formulations and processes. This activity has a permanent partnership with a taste panel.

Business to business

Working with major brands, Dailycer can use its expertise and industrial flexibility to put together innovative concepts in just a few months: such as three-layer cereal bars, organic recipes, exclusive packs, etc.
